Wats up people?

As the saying goes – ‘whatever will go wrong will go wrong’. This has nothing to do with our website… I am talking about the recession. The ‘experts’ are predicting that we are going to have a ‘W’ curve. Well we are least bothered if it’s a ‘V’, ‘W’ or ‘O’ curve. All we are interested is that we get some good sleep (and if it’s with someone, then it’s much better ).

We have got a million suggestions (well somebody has to inflate the figures ) on what changes we need to do to our website… but sadly there is one small problem… we don’t have all the money and time in the world. So we have come up with a site with good infra ( faster… more user-friendly… blah blah..(this part has to be filled up by the tech team!!) ) so that we can scale up/ come up with more features faster and easier (this is just the start).

More than the technology part of the website, this time we are coming with real innovative marketing strategies for our website (wth!! If not for the product we need to be remembered for something).

We are going to use the ‘pretty girl syndrome’.

Well for those people who don’t know what ‘pretty girl syndrome’ is, here goes –

What generally happens in a ‘class’, ‘division’, ‘department’, ‘bus stop’ (as in everywhere) there is this ‘pretty girl’ who every guy wants to go out with. But obviously not everyone gets Aishwarya Rai (except for AB ), but everyone follows (especially online) whatever she does, however dumb she is This is what we are going to ‘leverage’ (well off late I’ve been working on my CV… so I’ve got used to using lots of meaningless fancy words).

But again there is a small problem. ‘We’ don’t know any good looking girls (u should have guessed by now). So we are requesting you guys to help us on this. We are giving you a ‘reason’ to talk to a good looking girl to ask her to promote our website.

Ok wait… enough of the crap. Let me get to the point… We have really worked on the site in terms of its usability and its accessibility and also content. We would like you to spread the word about our site (please don’t ‘buzz’ and disturb people. Talk to them ). If you think you we are missing out something please tell us or maybe join us if you have the qualifications

We are back and hopefully we are here to stay

Hope you guys are doing well…

Well, this post is supposed to explain why we have started this website. But since our writing skills aren’t that great we would like to keep it short.

This website has been created for primarily two purposes:

· There has been a million times when we had gone for a movie based on the ratings of the critics and found that the movie is just bloody CRAP. So we thought (by the way we also think) – ‘why not start a website to get user ratings for the movies running in the theatres instead of depending on the critic’s ratings and wasting our hard earned (or ok just ‘earned’) money’.

· And the most important purpose – to fill the time we spend at work with more interesting things.

Our next plan is to go for an IPO for this website (we are not joking) or write a controversial book that Jinnah is gay or something like that and become famous (’ok. now we are digressing from the topic’ – MBA GD style )
